Hey P.s.,
(or anyone from the island) I was on another forum and some member is doing this show. Its a small natural tested show not affiliated with any organizations but i think next year itd be a perfect time for me as far as competing....do you know much about it? Its in nanaimo annually so i thought you may have attended. would it be even worth it? i couldnt care too much as far as whether its a meaninful show ...just want some stage experience. http://www.bodybuilding-and-fitness-competitions.com/ |

I would not waste the money or your time with this show. It's not sanctioned, nor is it tested in any way. This show is at best a club contest. You'd be much better off doing either the Western Canadians in Kelowna as it truely is tested and part of the teir system or Sandra's fall classic in Vancouver.

Oh I would rethink Fame, as it's just another BS scam federation IE they DO NOT test, instead they have what is called a physique assesment round that requires the judges to look at your physique and determine (from just looking at ya) if you're a natty or not. The only federation in Canada that IMO has a solid natty component is the CBBF/IFBB, and if ya do well at the "natty" Nationals then off ya go to the IFBB Worlds (Mr Universe) and if ya win there you can turn pro (this is how Ronnie got his card!).

Train smart UBC and your knee should do fine. Remember that conditioning wins shows far more often than size ever will, so come in peeled to the bone and you should do just fine....Oh and this doesn't require using stupid heavy weights either!
