just a quick thank you....

well....i am the "cougar" of the moderators here on CJM, therefore i wanted to express my thanks to the members who have continued to frequent our board.

we have many intelligent members here, as i have said before, it is one (if not the best) bodybuilding forums on the net, we have many experienced helpful people here, and i tip my crown to those of you that stayed....many thanks.

now......

if there is ANY talk on this board in regards to recreation drugs, the thread will be deleted and the member who started it will be warned and (if continued) banned off the board. this is a place to obtain knowledge, not a crack house. therefore, please keep the rec drug talk OFF our board, that's not the reason we are here.

thank you,
QOD

I agree with you QOD, the talk should be left outside the board . Thats not what this sport is about . Its the people whom tow the line, train hard, and sacrafice everyday life . Proper diet & training take you to the top, not the drugs .

Everyone of us has the "ability", you just have to go for it!

Well said! Unfortunately sooooo many people just want the results and don't want to put out the work and time involved to create a great physique, and that's the greatest problem in any sport now people think that AAS etc are the quick fix to a great physique.

i agree with PS to a point but i have been off of AAS for a few momnths and its sad how fast you lose size and strenght. I hate what happens to my body once i have been off fior awhile. i have dropped alotta weight ibn the last 6 months being off. and its downright depressing. Its blatently obvious in the diffrence in someones apperance on and off cycle.

And I fully disagree with you on this. IMO a great physique can be created without AAS, and after said physique is developed naturally then (maybe) AAS will give you that 50% boost. However even with AAS etc one still has to train extremely hard in the gym and eat perfectly.

IMO AAS creates an enviroment within the body to make hard training and perfect nutrition more productive and really that's about all that AAS will do for an athlete, so I would give AAS etc about 20% in the equation as long as all other variables are in place.

For those that use AAS before they have a foundation sure it may seem as though AAS is able to give that 50%, but really it will be a very short lived 50%.

i find most guys who lose alot of size when off never built a good foundation naturally. or let their training and diet go to shit when off.you will lose some while off but you keep alot. but proper training and diet with steroids added, its a big piece of the puzzle but not the whole thing.

I think the bottom line is that a lot of people, in particular the ones that are more impatient, want a quick fix when they aren't seeing satisfactory results from their natural training.

I met a guy (early 20s) in the gym the other day and he was carrying on about how big his arms were getting and he said imagine if I was on the juice. I just laughed and I said imagine if you knew how to eat properly. He stopped dead and asked me what I meant. I asked him if he knew how many protein, carbs, fats, etc. he was taking in a day and what kind of foods he was eating. He gave me the "deer in the headlights look" and didn't seem to know what to say.

Then I told him to do some research on proper bodybuilding diets and put that to the test along with proper training, etc. Whether or not he will do anything but I had him pumped when he was leaving. lol

If only the younger guys knew how much test was flowing through them and how many great gains they could make WITHOUT juice at that age!

What you've said is SOOO TRUE!! If only the young'uns knew how fortunate they are with all that natural test they've got flowing, and if they were to train hard and eat right most could make HUGE gains without ever sticking a pin in their butts!

Yes it's true! Back in the day when I first started training I put on 60 lbs over 3 years naturally. And when I decieded to become enhanced. that was another 40 lbs. over 2 years. And at the age of 50 years old and a pretty lean and cut 230lbs, I can still pack-on another 30 to 40 lbs. if and when I decide to do another bulk (more if I were to use GH)

Jack,

Yes it was off for a day. I changed my email and password and never had time to confirm the email change with the link that was sent to me. It's back on now though.
