My employer wants me to come up with a group exercise class.
I despise group x. I always keep my own cardio very basic[treadmill ,bike, etc] . I want to do something bodybuilding oriented since that is my style. I do have 1 idea, but am looking for more help and input. Thanks people.

My employer has tried this with me on a few occassions and I just flat out said no. I'm not a PT and I generally refuse to even train people for $$, as most people will not follow direction in or outta the gym and thus are a complete waste of my time.

The only people I will give advice to or help are my girlfriend, bodybuilders, and football players because they actually push themselves and are there because they want to be not because they have to be. Just my 2 cents...But working as a PT sucks for the most part and you deal with the general public who are lazy unmotivated losers for the most part. People like this aren't worth your time and effort. I prefer to work with people who are already serious about it and are in already in shape and are serious about improving themselves. |

Thanks guys. I have been a PT for 19 yrs this month. I'm pretty good at it, and I love helping ppl.
I just hate group classes, and have never had to do one before as part of my job. I feel you lose so much when you can't focus 100% of your attention on each client. Yes, alot of ppl suck and are lazy etc. I'm not perfect myself. I eat too many carbs and I'm getting soft in my old age. But I get a great high helping people feel better about themselves; when they do everything I tell them to do and they get where they want to be, Man, nothing is better than they joy that i share with them, and the LOVE and respect I get. ANyhooooo , enuff with the sappy shyte. Any ideas?

Yup....Certain supervisors have at times thought my training people was a great idea, as we have a gym for staff at the jail. Of course I have always said no, but if an individual staff member has a question or two regarding nutrition, training etc I will do my best to assist them, but that's as far as I go.
