Heavy or Light?
Just wondering people's mindsets on how they train, who influences your training styles, and what makes you tick in the gym.
I was browsing through hundreds of sites past few years, and have came to a conclusion that there is thousands of training ways and recommendations for everything (God I'm a genius, right?) But seriously, is there really a WAY to train? After about a year of over-training, going to the gym and doing weights for hour and a half looking in the mirror hoping to be huge, then hour of cardio hoping to be ripped, and eating 1500 calories a day, my dreams of becoming huge in a weekend period came to a crashing halt after I realized how retarded I was training. Then I didn't know much about bodybuilding at the time and began to philosophize on the use of steroids and rejected anything to do with them and said I'd NEVER use them. Here I'm 3 years later, at the young, but yet old age of 20 it seems. After many times trying to figure out new routines, new people to follow. I have came to an obvious conclusion that I was training very improperly and malnourished up the ass. Then I took my recent 6-8 months off of training hard (weight-lifting and alike) and now have so much more knowledge and appreciation of the 'art' of sculpting your self. I was much like everybody else when they started, worrying about how much weight you can lift and how cool you looked for all the girls and showing off. Now that I swallowed my male ego and focus on where the pull is at, instead of using my shoulder and rear-deltoids and back to pull up a dumbbell, I actually use my bicep. If you read my rant, I appreciate it. I hope it somehow helps somebody else realize that following dumb diets and training routines will never really get you anywhere except disappointment or a depressed state. You just mainly have to eat, train hard, and put your ass into it (best said by ice cube). Now before anybody rants or flames this post, I did not mean to offend your ego in any way. Oh and for the main point! Kevin Levrone is my main inspiration and would love to say thanks to him for all the inspiration, with levronereport.com support and information, I see the reality of professional bodybuilding and the lifestyle lead. Best wishes to all of you pursuing weightlifting in any way possible and any athlete out there dreaming to be something or to better them selves! |

I always tell my people; It's not how MUCH you lift, it's how HARD you lift.
Effort=results.
